Two mates, a few too many, one idea that actually stuck.

Frothies kicked off in 2018 the way most good Aussie ideas do: a couple of best mates, a few bevvies deep, and an idea that was still there in the morning, long after the beers had worn off. Back then, beer merch meant one thing: dorky promo gear your old man scored free at the bottlo. We wanted the opposite — designs we'd actually wear, the kind your mates ask about instead of quietly binning.

So we sketched a few designs and backed ourselves.

Somewhere in the haze, the punt turned into a proper business. Thousands of designs, official licensing deals, and gear stocked in stores we don't own. We still reply to most DMs ourselves, and we've always been serious about the gear — even if we've never been that serious about ourselves.

Turns out it wasn't just the beers talking.

Made here. Mostly. And we'll always tell you which.

We print our core range — the tees, hoodies and tanks — right here in Australia, because it's what we know and we're good at it. The specialty bits, like the button-ups and accessories, we leave to the makers who do them best: sometimes here, sometimes overseas. 100% Australian owned and run, no asterisks on that part.

Frothies is a celebration of the good stuff: a cold one after work, and the backyard table where a quiet Sunday turns into deep-and-meaningfuls and group therapy until the birds start chirping. We're not here to lecture anyone — just to make sure you look like an absolute weapon while you're at it.
