IN NORTH QUEENSLAND… THE SHARKS ARE AFRAID TO GO IN THE WATER

This winter… The food chain flips.

After decades circling the coast unchecked, North Queensland’s sharks have encountered a new problem:

Bob Katter.

He doesn’t need sonar. He doesn’t need a cage. And he sure as hell doesn’t need permission from Canberra.

“They said the sharks were protected,” Katter muttered from beneath the brim of his hat. “Let’s see who protects ’em from me.”

Witnesses describe strange scenes across coastal waters: bait fish scattering, bull sharks disappearing into deeper channels, and distant sounds of RM Williams boots echoing across public boat ramps.

Marine biologists are baffled. Locals are cheering. The sharks are reportedly “shitting themselves.”

There’s a new apex predator in North Queensland waters.
